Coin Master Rare Card List & Guide 2026

A definitive, tiered list of the rarest cards in Coin Master and the exact strategies required to obtain them to complete your card sets.

What Are Rare Cards in Coin Master?

In Coin Master, cards are collectible items found in chests. Once you collect all nine cards in a specific theme, you complete a Card Set and are rewarded with massive amounts of daily free spins, coins, and sometimes even pets.

However, not all cards are created equal. Some cards are extremely difficult to find. The most rare card in Coin Master will depend on your current village level, but there is a definitive hierarchy of rarity that dictates how hard a card is to acquire.

Rare Cards vs. Gold Cards

It is important to understand the difference between a Rare Card and a Gold Card.

Rare cards are regular white-bordered cards that simply have a very low drop rate from chests. Because they are regular cards, they can be traded with friends at any time.

Gold cards have a distinct gold border and are completely locked from regular trading. You cannot trade them unless there is an active Golden Card Trade event occurring, and even then, Moon Active only allows two specific Gold Cards to be traded during the event. To find a list of rare gold cards in Coin Master, you must open Magical Chests during Card Boom events.

How to Get Rare Cards

If you are missing that one final card to finish a set, here are the best strategies to find rare cards.

1. Buy Chests in Boom Villages

When advancing through villages, you will occasionally land on what the community calls a "Boom Village." These specific villages have historically proven to have much higher drop rates for rare and gold cards. If you find yourself in a Boom Village, stop building and spend your coins on Magical Chests!

2. Take Advantage of "Card Boom" Events

The Card Boom event temporarily increases the number of cards you receive when opening any chest by 50%. This mathematically increases your odds of finding a rare card simply by volume. Never spend billions of coins on chests unless a Card Boom event is active.

3. The Power of the Joker Card

The Joker Card is the ultimate wild card. It is an extremely rare reward, usually won by placing first in tournaments or completing massive event milestones. When you earn a Joker Card, it can be transformed into any missing card you need—including Gold Cards! Always save your Joker Card for the absolute rarest card in your highest-tier set.

4. Trade in Facebook Groups

The official Coin Master Trading Group on Facebook is the best place to find missing regular rare cards. If you have duplicates of high-rarity cards like Martian Lettuce or Torero, you hold immense trading power.
