Tips & Tricks
Strategies and advice from experienced Coin Master players. Level up your game with these proven tips for spins, raids, cards, pets, and events.
Bet Multiplier Strategy
Your bet multiplier is the single most important decision you make on every spin. Use x1 bet when you're low on spins or just casually playing between events. Switch to x5 or x10 during events where your spins count toward rewards (like Attack Madness or Raid Madness) because the multiplier increases your event progress without using more spins. Go max bet only when you have a huge stockpile of spins (500+) and a high-value event is running. The multiplier affects everything — coins earned, raid amounts, and attack damage — so timing it right is the difference between wasting spins and getting massive returns.
Save Spins for Events
This is the #1 habit that separates casual players from pros. Instead of burning through your spins the moment you get them, stockpile them until a good event starts. Collect all your free spin links daily (they stack above the 50-spin cap), but resist the urge to spin. The best events to save for are Viking Quest, Attack Madness, and Raid Madness — these give you bonus rewards on top of your regular gameplay. A player who dumps 400 spins during an event will get 2-3x more total value than someone who spent those same spins across random days with no event running.
Best Time to Raid (Shield Timing)
Raids are most profitable when the target player has a lot of coins stored. Players tend to accumulate coins after they've been playing and winning but before they spend on village upgrades. The sweet spot is raiding players who are mid-village — they've earned a bunch of coins but haven't fully upgraded yet. Also, keep Foxy active when you raid because she digs up an extra item, often worth millions of coins. If you get a raid and Foxy is sleeping, it can be worth feeding her first before picking your dig spots — that extra dig frequently pays for itself many times over.
Card Trading Etiquette & Strategy
Card trading is how you complete collections without relying on luck alone. The golden rule: always trade equal star-value for equal star-value. Don't ask for 4-star cards in exchange for 1-star cards — the community notices and you'll get blocked. When looking for rare cards, post clear "Have/Need" lists in trading groups and our Telegram channel. Keep at least 2 copies of every duplicate before trading one away — you never know when a new set will need a card you already gave away. During Gold Card Trading events, prioritize trading gold cards you have duplicates of, since these events only come around a few times per month.
Pet Leveling Priority
The optimal pet leveling order is Foxy first, then Tiger, then Rhino. Foxy's extra dig during raids is the most valuable ability in the game — a single Foxy-boosted raid can pull in tens of millions of coins. Tiger's attack bonus is useful during Attack Madness events but is generally less impactful. Rhino's shield protection is nice but you can't control when you get attacked, so the value is inconsistent. Feed your active pet before big spin sessions. Pets stay active for 4 hours after feeding, so time it so your pet is awake during your main play sessions.
Village Progression Tips
When upgrading your village, always build the cheapest items first. This minimizes your risk — if you get raided or attacked after partially upgrading, you lose fewer coins on cheaper items. Some players rush to complete villages quickly, but the smarter move is to wait until you have enough coins to finish 2-3 items in one session, so you're not sitting with a half-built village that's vulnerable to attacks. Also, keep in mind that chest drops change based on your village level, so if you're hunting for specific cards, check which village level drops the chests you need before rushing ahead.
Maximize Event Rewards
Not all events are created equal. Viking Quest is widely considered the best event because it rewards spins, coins, and pet food with relatively low spin requirements. Attack Madness and Raid Madness are great if you've saved up spins. During these events, increase your bet multiplier to earn more event points per spin. For Balloon Frenzy and other passive events, you don't need to change your strategy much — just play normally and collect the bonus rewards. Check the in-game event tab regularly and plan your spin sessions around the highest-value events.
Spin Link Stacking Strategy
Here's something many players don't realize: free spin links can push your spin count far above the 50-spin cap. The 50-spin limit only applies to the passive refill (5 spins per hour). Spins from reward links, gifts, and events all stack on top. This means you can collect links daily without spending and build up hundreds of spins. The strategy is simple — claim every link from our site as soon as it's posted, but don't spin until a worthwhile event comes along. Some dedicated players save up 1,000+ spins this way and then crush events for massive rewards.
When to Attack vs When to Raid
Attacks and raids serve different purposes. Raids are your primary coin-earning method — always activate Foxy before raiding for maximum loot. Attacks are better for revenge and event points. During Attack Madness events, attacks become incredibly valuable since each one earns event progress. Outside of events, raids generally give you more coins than attacks. One advanced tip: if you land on an attack and the target player's village is already fully built, the attack earns you coins but doesn't actually damage anything — so you're getting free money. Use the revenge list strategically to target players who raided you recently.
Protecting Your Village (Shield Management)
Shields are your defense against attacks, and you can stack up to 3 shields at a time. Each shield blocks one incoming attack. The best way to maintain shields is to keep spinning — shields come from the slot machine regularly. If you have 3 shields and land another shield on the slots, it's wasted, so try to time your spin sessions when you're low on shields. Rhino pet adds an extra layer of protection by giving a chance to block attacks even without a shield. When you're sitting on a lot of coins and about to upgrade your village, make sure you have shields active before logging off — that's when you're most vulnerable.
How to Get More Coins Efficiently
Coins are the fuel for village building, and there are several ways to maximize your income. Raids with Foxy active are the single best coin source in the game. Completing card sets awards millions of coins along with spins. Bet multiplier plays a huge role — when you spin at x5 or higher during a lucky streak, coin rewards scale dramatically. Don't forget about coin links — Coin Master doesn't just give away spins, they also drop coin reward links on social media. We track those too and publish them alongside spin links. Finally, gifting coins to friends and receiving gifts back is a steady daily source, so add as many Coin Master friends as you can.
Event Calendar Awareness
Coin Master runs multiple events on a rotating schedule, and knowing what's coming helps you plan your spins. Events typically rotate every 1-3 days, with major events like Viking Quest and Set Blast appearing roughly every 1-2 weeks. Pay attention to patterns — if Attack Madness just ended, Raid Madness often follows within a few days. The game sometimes announces upcoming events in the news section, so check it regularly. Our Telegram community also shares event updates and predictions. The smartest players keep a rough mental calendar and start saving spins a day or two before a big event is expected.
